Martha L. Valencia from her son, Alejandro Arango.Mom, although we may have been with each other for a little more than 13 years, those 13 years will be the best years of my life. I may not be able to enjoy your physical presence, and the sound of your voice. However, I know you will always be with me and at my side, both spiritually and mentally. You will give me comfort in times of distress; congratulate me in times of great joy, and calm me when I am frustrated or angry. You will always be in my prayers and hopefully watching over me. I will never be able to give you thanks for all the things you have given me. I can only say I adore you. And hope that maybe one day many years from now, we will cross paths again and meet in heaven.Martha is survived by her husband Jorge Arango and her son Alejandro. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Alberto, Luis, Estela, Helena, Bernardo, Libardo, Wilson, Mary, Saul, and Samuel Valencia.Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 5:00  to 8:00 p.m. at Kreidler Funeral Home, 314 N. 10th St.  Catholic Mass will be held, at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, Rio Grande Valley, 5413 S. McColl, Edinburg, TX 78539 or a charity of your choice.
